This website is operated by the Cope Pilot team as an independent research project to validate problem-market fit for a burnout recognition tool. We are not affiliated with any employer, wellness platform, or healthcare provider.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to run our research study:

Email Addresses (Optional)

• What: Your email address, only if you choose to join the waitlist
• Why: To send updates about the project and notify you when the tool is ready
• Legal basis (GDPR): Consent

Technical Cookies (Required for A/B Testing)

• session_id: Random identifier to track your journey through the study (expires after 30 days)
• ab_variant: Remembers which version (A or B) you were shown (expires after 30 days)

These cookies are strictly necessary to run the A/B experiment and measure which problem hypothesis resonates more. They contain no personal information.

Usage Data (Anonymous)

We log anonymous usage data to understand how people interact with the site:

• Page views, button clicks, form submissions
• Device type (mobile/desktop), browser, operating system
• Referrer and UTM parameters (to measure ad performance)

This data is stored locally on our server and cannot identify you personally. Email addresses are hashed (SHA-256) before logging, making them irreversible.

3. What We DON'T Collect

• No health information or symptom data
• No tracking across other websites
• No third-party analytics (like Google Analytics)
• No advertising or marketing cookies
• No payment information (we don't process payments)

4. How We Use Your Data

Email addresses: Only used to send occasional updates (1-2 emails per month) about the project. You can unsubscribe anytime.

Usage data: Used to measure which problem hypothesis (A or B) generates more interest, helping us build a more useful tool.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or rent your data to third parties.

The only exception: If legally required by law enforcement or court order.

6. Data Storage and Security

• Where: Data is stored on a server in the EU
• How long: Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or the project ends. Usage data is kept for 12 months after the study concludes.
• Security: We use industry-standard security practices. Email addresses are hashed before storage.
